We require an experienced Estimator with a background in secondary steelwork and architectural metalwork. Estimator will be required to evaluate tenders, bills of quantity and submit quotations to met client specifications; therefore ability to take off steelwork quantities from engineering drawings is essential. The position requires a strong communicator with good inter-personal & organizational skills and ability to work through challenges.

 

Successful candidate will be both commercially and contractually knowledgeable and computer literate. Ability to work on own initiative and unsupervised is essential.

 

Minimum of 5 years experience in erection of structural steelwork/site fabrication. Supervision experience preferred. The successful candidate will be self motivated and able to work unsupervised from engineering drawings. Working within a small team, regular overtime and some work away from home will be required to keep pace with our full order book. Include any details of any current site safety/plant certification held with your application. C.S.C.S holders preferred. Hourly rate is negotiable depending upon experience.
